There are a couple of ways to integrate calendars with FileMaker.
One simple option is to use FM to generate the helper file which will load the event onto the Mac iCal application.
Another option for more complicated calendar needs is to use one of the plugins available by third-party vendors. One such option is Zulu which allows you to publish calendars from FileMaker to Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android devices.
