It used to be that if you wanted to go mobile, you had just one choice in terms of size. But now Apple has released three different sizes of iPads ( 12.7, 9.4, and iPad mini (7.9). As for phone sizes, besides the regular large size, there is also the large Plus sizes for iPhone 6,7, and 8, and also you can still buy an SE with a 4” display.
So when someone says that they want to have their FileMaker Pro solution available on mobile, there are still a lot of questions to ask. Will it only be needed on one size? Or will you need to flex for whatever size device someone happens to access it from? Will it be for both iPhone and iPad? How about web?
So a lot of questions need to be worked out so that we can design the right size layouts. In many cases, we can create hybrid layouts which can serve in a couple of different settings and devices. This is especially true for layouts which one might want to double for both desktop and iPad usage.
There are a lot of options, and we can help you sort through them.
