It is the “Replace Field Contents” command. It is kind of a advanced Find-and-Replace on steroids. This command gives you access to the FileMaker calculation engine so that you can do advanced calculations as you update your data.

For example, let’s say your office staff have entered hundreds of pieces of information into the wrong field for a particular set of customers, all in California. Using Replace Field Contents, you can do a find for all customers in “CA”. Once you have this set established, then it is a simple matter, to tell FileMaker to copy the contents of one field into the correct field. And then using Replace Field Contents a second time, you can choose to delete the contents from the first field.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
