Writing the code is actually the easy part, but there are many other elements which must be done in order to be successful in software sales.

Here are just a few of them:
1. Marketing – one of the most important areas for success, and the one that takes the longest to get right
2. Legal – trademarks, corporate entity status, corporate veil, basic legal guidance
3. Financial – bank accounts, accounting help, QuickBooks integration, taxes, payroll, etc.
4. Customer Support – tech support, reimbursements, sales support
5. IT – all the issues associated with accessing, and securing your data, domain names, email services, SSL certificates, etc.

There is a lot involved with it.
