You may not have noticed this in FileMaker 17, but there is a very nice new display feature called “My Apps”.

Under the File menu there is the usual, “Open”, “Open Recent”, and “Hosts”.
But there is also one called “My Apps”. This is basically a ‘favorites’ list.
It is very handy, as it can display all of your most used apps in either a grid format of tiles or simply a list of applications.

The ‘tile’ format is a very nice visual display of all of your FileMaker apps, which also includes any custom icons you may have created for them.

The ‘list’ format provides a full read of the file name, in case it is a long one. Whereas sometimes on the tile format, the grid display precludes showing the entire file name.

This is a nice addition to the FileMaker 17 feature list and one which you will appreciate every time you are looking for a file.
