Time Saving Invoicing
I developed the HighPower Biz CRM app to save me time.
My Story:
Like any small business owner, I spend a lot of time on the paperwork at the end of the week. It was taking me a lot of time to track all the hours my developers were working, then to confirm those times, double-check the accuracy of the descriptions, and generally get my house in order.
I knew there was a better way to do it. In fact that is the theme of our company, “There is a better way to run your business.” So I applied this truth to my own company and hunkered down to develop what I needed.
The results have been really phenomenal. What used to take a couple of hours to trudge through all the digital records, and create the invoices, now takes 1 minute. (Yes, 1 minute!) For example, this past week we had 180 separate worklogs of tasks which were accomplished throughout the week by our various developers. Each of those would have to be reviewed and copy and pasted into the invoices. That would take about 2 hours in the past. Now, 1 minute! Don’t you love software automation?!
The Invoicing Features:
- Automatic Invoice Creation from Worklogs
- Either adds to “Pending” invoices, or creates a new invoice if there are no Pending
- Distinguishes between Open vs Closed Invoices
- Can run separate Invoices for various Projects for the same client. So if you have a client who would like to keep the invoicing separate between two or more Projects you are doing for them, the HighPower Biz CRM can do that for you.
- Invoice tagging: you can designate an invoice based on five different classifications: Open vs. Closed; Description; Notification Status; Payment Status; Payment Terms
- Invoices can be applied to a client’s account total with one button
There is too much to detail as the Invoicing features are tightly integrated with the Client, the Projects, the Tasks, and the Worklogs. But they are all connected tightly together allowing for powerful reporting capabilities when the time comes to build out your financial reports. More about those later.
Anyway, I had to tell you about this, because I just used it again on this Feb. 29th, 2020, (Leap Year Day!), and saved so much time, I wanted to let you know.
Best to you,
