These clues indicate it’s time to update

1. Your site loads slowly
   
   You know that load time affects your Google juice right? If it loads slow, down you go.
   
   
2. Your site doesn’t match your branding
   
   Maybe it never did; maybe you have changed your branding, and didn’t update your site to keep up. But if people know your brand and then go to your site, and there is not a match, it will causes a disconnect, possible confusion, and a potential bounce.
   
   So are the colors, fonts, theme, styling, all consistent with who you are as a company? Is there a match between company logo and the website?
   
   
3. You have a high bounce rate
   
   Here is what Jasmine Henry says about this:
   The majority of websites have a bounce rate between 26 percent and 70 percent, according to The Daily Egg. A high bounce rate, meaning above 40 percent, can indicate several site design issues, such as confusing navigation, low-quality content, or poor page load times. 
   
   
4. Your site is not optimized for mobile
   
   They say that half the web traffic around the world now originates form a mobile device, so if you don’t want to lose 50% of your potential readers or customers, now would be a good time to optimize.

5. You have poor conversion rates
   
   What kind of calls to action do you have?
   Can your site visitors sign up for a form, or download a free report? How do you convert a casual reader in to a lead or prospect or a return visitor?

6. Your site is not secure
